We had two very busy and exciting days last week at the IoT Tech Expo in Amsterdam, 26 and 27 September.
On the first day of the event, VEDLIoT organised a workshop bringing together all the 10 Open Call (OC) projects, who had the opportunity to present their final results and how the VEDLIoT technologies were used to achieve them. In addition, the workshop also featured VEDLIoT presentations on key aspects of the project work, as well as two presentations from the partner project IntellIoT. To round off the conference, a very fruitful Advisory Board meeting was held.
Meanwhile, and during the two days of IoT Tech Expo, the VEDLIoT booth was visited by many people interest in knowing more about the several demos (including some demos from OC projects) being displayed. We had the opportunity to explain what VEDLIoT is developing, in connection to the presented demos, and we received substantial positive feedback. It was interesting to be present in such a big event, along with major software and hardware companies selling their products. The great team spirit created in VEDLIoT over the past (almost) three years was visible during all the event, with representatives from all VEDLIoT partners working together to make it all shine!
We would like to thank all the Open Call projects that also helped to make our presence in this event a success, and to everyone who visited our booth. Your curiosity and your questions have strengthened our conviction that we are on the right track to a Very Efficient Deep Learning in IoT.
